Oakwood Retreat

Carol and I took off on Friday for a weekend of scrapping. We stayed at a resort near Grand Bend. Boy did we get a lot accomplished this weekend. I did zero layouts, but finished off a lot of projects.

Last spring I was involved in a card face swap. I had a bag with over 100 card faces sitting in my scrap area - well I am pleased to say, they are all cards now! It is wonderful having a stash handy!

The picture may not look like 100 cards, but trust me there are over 100 in that pile! Being a part of the Cricut Card Fairy Army, it is great having so many to choose from that I can get one in the mail on the same day a mission is received. For those of you unfamiliar with the Army, it is a group of people who have come together on the Cricut Message Board. Anyone can request that a card or cards be mailed to someone for whatever the occaission! I have just recently become a member but have sent a few get wells cards, hi cards, and sympathy cards. I know how great it makes me feel to receive a card in the mail so I am happy to put a smile on someone elses face!

By the way, I will post pictures of my projects over the next couple of days! So be sure to check back!
