Another Wonderful Christmas Glass Block

My first attempt at a glass block. Made a bit of a mess of the opening at the bottom, but that is covered with ribbon! I decided I would make it for our vacation. So the front is using Tinkerbell cricut cartridge (which I got for my birthday) and the Martha Stewart branch punch. Of course I added a lot of bling with some rhinestones and stickles. The year is from Mickey Font.

The back has our saying "Just Another Wonderful Christmas". Those are the four first initials of the 4 kids in our group going to Disney. The font is Mickey Mouse font as is the Mickey head and the Disney. Michelle had hats made for all with the same saying on them. And on the hats the first letter is larger and a different colour, just like here!

Can't wait to place this in our window at Disney!

The BIG 40!

Well, it is here I have hit a new decade. Don't feel any older but I am sure my body will start falling apart now! Will is at school and Jesse and I are hanging. Tonight Paul will take the boys with him and I get to go hang with Carol and do a little scrap shopping!

This morning Carol brought a totally awesome cake to moms group. She sprinkled a Mickey Head on top with icing sugar and she gave me some awesome gifts with the same theme!

SURPRISE!

Paul arrange a surprise gathering in honour of my 40th! Yup, will be the big 40 soon.

It was great to have my parents and Paul and the boys of course and surprise visitors. Carol and her daughter Elsie came, Dave and Michelle and their kids Collin and Ainsley. Sarah and her new addition Olivia - I finally got to meet Olivia - she is adorable!~
